Platinum Engagement Rings

The platinum engagement ring requires extra attention to cleaning, especially designs with engraving, filigree or handcrafted details. Before starting the actual cleaning, use tweezers to remove fibres or wires caught in some portions of the ring. Then rinse the ring with water and immerse it in a cleaning solution of ammonia diluted with three parts water, but don't let it soak for more than a minute. Then gently brush the ring and wipe the diamond with a soft cloth so that it doesn't get caught in the corners where it is embedded.
